The idea here is pretty simple: we're using existing websites and press releases to manipulate the search results for a person's name - in this case, my little brother, John. My first step in any kind of process like this is to make a YouTube video ("when all you have is a hammer, all your problems look like nails" if you know what I mean). Next, we took that video and we syndicate it through press releases in order to get more instances of that video ranking; giving us more control over page one of Google.
Our next steps would be to create more web 2.0 style sites and get them to rank. I would mix in a few more videos, just because I think they're fun.
